Today’s session talked about the ability of the sensory organs to expression one’s thoughts and ideas. What million words can’t do, the expressions of a man can help him express unsaid feelings. To demonstrate this, a small activity was done in which a person had to volunteer to sit on a chair with relax mind and closed eyes and was asked to judge what does he/she feels when another person touches the said person skin. Another activity called in up for two people to interact with each other where in one person would observe quiet and make gestures with eyes, then with eyes and gestures and then finally with the said two plus the lip movement. The other observer would pen down trying to write the story as the narrator would tell.
There can be several other ways of observation much to our surprise. Not taking assistance of words for expressing, observation regarding what the other person wishes to share can be done with sensory organs.  But a very important thing must be taken into consideration. “We need to connect to our inner self in order to have a deeper understanding of such thoughts”, said a discussion table in the class. With the connectivity to inner self, truth prevails and a person can express himself/herself very well.  And therefore, we needn’t know a person in private, as we can surely read his/her mind!
We also discussed that listening is a very powerful tool and the power is always with the listener and not with the speaker. It is very much similar to the facts that only when the follower wishes to follow the leader, can the leader manage to be called as leader.
In conclusion, an inference can be derived that our sensory organs have a great power of self-expression and it should be utilized by an leader to understand each other thoughts and feelings, a quality mandatory to the characteristic of an inspired leader.
It was observed: "Rational mind wouldn't agree to something abnormal,  but the power of the love can help transcend all energies and logic" - Satya Sai Baba (thought expressed by him stated in my own language)

You should honour who you are,
As you are here for some purpose.
A man can think of becoming a great leader only when he can become a self-leader.  In order to accomplish self-leadership, one has to understand the several peripherals of a man’s personality. The 1st peripheral comprises of the 5 senses i.e. touch, smell, taste, see and hear. A man’s joy is short lived if he chooses to live his life on these senses.  Or we can say that any gratification derived out of sensory pleasure is not true happiness. Inside this layer, lies the layer of instincts. It is said instincts just give us information, not necessarily right. The way we mould this information and take actions accordingly, is known as true leadership. In other words, actions must be supported by more logical/rational thinking than just mere instincts. Below this layer is the layer of emotions which signifies the need of a man for deriving meaning out of a relationship. Such a layer should also be channelized into a proper direction as controlling emotions is pretty difficult. Intellect is the next layer, which helps a person to make analytical decision making. It is how a person can act as the witness of his/her own thought process. Then comes the second last layer, which is the layer of ego where all our fears reside. Ego prevents us from changing and makes any action that we do as our habits. Last layer is the layer of ‘I’ or self-awareness. ‘I’ also represent the MINDFULNESS of a person.
After having understood how a man’s personality is divided into layers, it is well understood that choosing to live on the outer periphery, the happiness becomes short lived. Also, the actions carried out of instincts should be checked well in advance, in order to define true leadership. The ego pride is the sense of making yourself happy by delivering services to those who are in need!!! According to me, the ultimate goal of a being is the journey to accomplish the ‘I’ which is the life giving force or discovering who you are and what is your purpose here!!
A person can become a great self-leader if he chooses to serve others before he serve himself, blends rational thinking with his intuitive power and tries to find out what is his actual purpose is in this life!!
