In the Self-Leadership session, Sir Anil Sachdev taught us
about the importance of emotional intelligence. He cleared the myth that
emotional intelligence is not inherited but is acquired by upbringing and
education. He explained us about self awareness. An eye cannot see itself
except when it looks in mirror. So its very important for us to have the
ability to understand who are we and the impact of us on others. Then we had an
exercise named ego- alter ego. The lessons of the exercise were we should understand
others through conscious listening. We should respect others view and try that
biasness doesn’t impact our listening.
