Self Leadership is the art of knowing yourself better.By practicing self leadership one person can easily answer this question "Who M I "? It is all about knowing your values strengths, how do you work, which environment you want to work in, and with the relation of all these what can you contribute. In self leadership first you discover yourself and that we can do by appreciative inquiry and mind mapping. After that we dream,design and deliver at the end. By practicing all that you come to know about your character and the contribution you want to make. In self leadership we mainly follow three processes and these are:- 
1. Process of observing 
2. Process of listening
3. Process of touching
 
If we try to find out the answer to the question  who m i ? then we follow the 6 layer model for this. in this we divide a person into 6 layers like:-

1. Physical layer- This layer made of your 5 senses which connects you from outside world. 

2. Instinct layer- This is all about the first reaction from the data that we get. 

3. Emotional layer- This layer deals with our heart/mind. It actually derives relationships. 

4. instinctual brain layer-This layer helps you to think and make choices.

5. Ego layer- This layer limits you to get your true potential. 

6. I layer- This layer tells you that you have unlimited potential. 

Facts Derived From Analysis:- 

  • For knowing our self we do meditation, in this we look at our thought process peacefully.
  • Here intuition is the direct living force that guide you or the inner voice that tells you what is right and what is wrong. 
  • As mind changes everyday same like that ego also changes as per the time and the new person you met. but you should have command on both your inner world as well as the outer world. 
  • The more you go out of the circle the amount of happiness that you will get is the least. 
  • instinctual layer deals with the ethics and it tells you where you want to go between the given 2 choices. 
  • Here mindfulness is the thing which helps you to take the actual decisions. 
  • your traits actually puts value on the effects.   
 In addition to this self- leadership is all about relating your resources with the environment you are working in, perform and if there are any gaps comes out in your performance than take it as a learning by making learning goals based on that and that derives you to the growth. 

In conclusion we can say that self leadership plays a very important role in our success as till that time we are not aware about us, we can't manage our self and if we can't manage our self we can't manage anybody else. So for  being a leader self awareness is must.
