"Self Realization is the essence of an Inspired Leader". This would be the one line sum up of the learning that I had today, taught by our reverend Guru.

We normally tend to go by our instincts, but we should learn not to be driven by them. Our Soul is the owner of our body and senses and it is we who should control it and not vice versa. An inspired Leader realizes the bigger purpose in life and aligns all the senses to the inspiration he derives from the eternal source.

An Inspired leader realizes that the source of joy is much beyond pleasure.  It is into making THE RIGHT CHOICE after he has all the information processed from the various sources. He intercedes the 6 layers of self and gets the complete grasp of his being. These layers are The five senses, The instinct, The emotions, the intellect, Ego/habits and The eternal life giving force. These layers when interceded brings the person in direct contact with his soul. It infalliably makes him a role model. One who inspires others to do things. Such people make competitions, that other people follow.

There are three senses that Inspire a Leader to the next level.
As they say eyes are the channels to ones soul. An Inspired leader has practised an excellent observation capability. He can see in the eyes and tell what is going on in the mind of the person. Verbal communication and the gestures made are  important in their own way but eyes also speak volumes, silently.

Then there is one vital aspect which is taken not too seriously by most of the people, that is of listening. An inspired leader is always a very good listener. He lends his ears to other people and tries to understand what they want to say. A good listener always inspires other to speak their heart out. He gives non verbal motivation to the speaker and helps to bring out the best out of him. Along with this such people learn a lot in life because of their listening skills. We should not only listen to what a person says but to what that person is.

The next faculty is that of the sense of touch. A pat on the back , a hug when someone is sad, a hand shake, the hand of ours elders on our head et al are the acts that may sometime last not more than seconds, but they leave a profound impact on us . Channelizing our internal self, We can transfer our positive energies to the lives of people who need it ,through a (mere) touch. This sense is emotionally very sensitive and it is needed to be used very judiciously.

The Inspired Leaders clearly comprehend the importance of all three senses and incorporate their ability to handle them in their daily practice. This makes them best from the rest. We all have the full potential to reach to this level and as it said and should be followed:

AN ALTAR IN LIFE CAN ALTER YOUR LIFE.

Thanks
