Happiness

Happiness is being described differently with different people. (1*) Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions contentment to intense joy. A variety of biological, psychological, religious, and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources. Happiness is described as Pleasure in complete satisfaction and whether you get peace of mind in that or not.
According to me happiness is when I am helping other’s without asking for it. Someone is really in need and you are there for them to help. Spread happiness is also I would like to do and don’t want to have negativity around me. Few people had described happiness as “Good Job”, “Playing music”, “Playing sports”, “Dancing” etc. So happiness is different for everybody and it depends upon in what state you are and you would like to be in. Some people had said that a fulfilling relationship is happiness for them as they can rely on other’s and should get happiness from family, friends, wife, husband etc. So happiness is a feeling which can be derived from others also.
Happiness is everywhere in this world, we people just tend to see other part of happiness i.e. sadness. No matter how vastly different he may be in the outer appearance of his life, different countries, different races, different cultures, different languages, different ways of living, eating, dressing, etc. Some people find happiness inside them some find outside as we have seen people are two types introvert and extrovert. An Introvert is a person who is energized by being alone and whose energy is drained by being around other people. On other hand an Extrovert energized by in a group socialising with people and derive energy from them, sometimes happiness also.
(2*)Everyone thinks happiness is to be found in objects and experiences. Everyone thinks, “If I could only attain certain objects, if I could only possess them, if I could experience them, I will get happiness.”-Anonymous
Someone finds happiness in god other found in work they do. So it is difficult to judge where happiness comes from. It is inside in all of us, it can be found in working what you believe in not the money you are been paid for.
One good way to find a few useful, life-improving and time-tested tips is to look back. To look way back through history we can find that mind is the starting point where it starts if a person is feeling happy then can do anything for others. The feeling of giving arises only when people feel happy otherwise they feel sad they can’t give just want to be alone or just want to cry in one corner.
We should always focus on present and not on future as happiness depends upon how you perceive in the present.
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us”
Helen Keller
“The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under his feet”
James Oppenheim
People want to stay in past as they don’t want to stay in present , because staying in present is important so that they can be happy and stay focused about future. How to create a happy environment for future as we always think about past which is a memory and we don’t have the powers to change it. But we can change our present and build a future. It depends upon the will of the individual as we can dwell on our past or create a happy future. We might miss on the present and future happiness which is present right now and it will provide us more happiness in future too.

One of the easiest way to turn to positive from negative is to be grateful. We say in our lives that we are grateful to god for he made us or he brought us to this world to do a meaningful purpose. A few things we can feel gratitude for are for instance: The sunshine and the weather. Our home, our health. A good diet, a movie or a dance. Your friends, family, co-workers and just about anyone who shares a good relationship.
We should always help someone else to find happiness as it can be a great gift from us. If we help someone else who is not happy then it will take more from our part to make that person happier. Happiness lies in making the world a place where we don’t find sadness.
Happiness is like a kiss. You must share it to enjoy it.
Bernard Meltzer
Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
Buddha
