“Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from our own actions. It is not something we postpone for the future; it is something we design for the present”. 
Happiness lies deep within us, in the very core of our being. It does not exist in any external object, to know the happiness needs the consciousness. Though we seem to derive happiness from external objects or experiences, the happiness that we thus enjoy in fact arises from within us. In our personal & professional life we get discourage by the failures & pressures, which generates negative emotions within us, which ultimately lead to increase in sadness & decrease in happiness, but to become happy it’s very important to understand what is more important to us. Happiness is nothing but the state of consciousness. 
Human brain has two sides positive & negative. There is world of work, family and friends that we travel in and there is the world of our mind and imagination. We know that money doesn’t make us happy, other people don’t make us happy, and that we have to make our self happy. Our mind will propose that happiness has something to do with the success and accomplishment. This is exactly what the mind wants us to believe and act on. As long as we are more focused about the success and accomplishment, our mind can avoid giving up the control it has over our emotions. When we are around angry, depressed or sad people we tend to feel the same, but if we are around the people who are happy then that happiness transfer to us also. Different things make different people happy. If we aren’t sure about what we want then it’s very difficult to find out the happiness in life. It’s very important not to focus on bad things when it happens to us, instead take a minute to count our blessings. Everyone has good things in their lives so remembering that things can make a big difference to our own life. It is good practice to think about what we have to be thankful for and silently thank those who have done something good for us in some way. Instead of thinking of problems, it’s important to think of solution to solve it. Another way to become happy is to spend more time with loved ones & with others whom we enjoy. Sometime we are often unaware about the things, but we usually want things or people or ourselves to change , that what lead to unhappiness, because control goes beyond our hands, so to become avoid this situation we have to accept the things as they are and try to understand them , even love them. In addition, we have to accept who we are and have to allow ourselves to be to be ourselves.

It said that to enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him. We will never be happy if we continue to search for what happiness consists of. We will never live if we look for the meaning of life. It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible. From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come
