For a person to be inspired to be a self leader we need to
ensure that we first and foremost ask our self that have I done anything which
I can proudly say that i have set others an example to follow. If we are able
to answer this question we can say to our self that we are on the process of
becoming an inspired leader. For example suppose we are crossing a road when
the traffic signal is Red and we see as to all the veichles are crossing but if
we stop and seeing this all the people behind me also stop then I can proudly
say to myself that I had set at that moment an example for others to follow.
If we try to identify within our self there are 6 layers out
of which body, Instinct reaction, mind, intellect, ego are all objects whereas
our soul is the subject. All of these subjects are connected to one another so
if we are able to align all these we can strive to become an inspired leader.
According to me in the process of becoming an inspired
leader we should first and foremost be a good listener. Until and unless we listen
to what other people are saying we cannot be a good leader. A leader is always from
the followers itself, so it is very important for the leader to listen to what
his followers want to say to him because listening to them will keep everyone
in the team motivated and with a desire to work as they will know that the
person for whom they are working patiently listens to them also. On the other
hand if a leader does not patiently listens to his followers then it will
create a sense of de motivation among his team members and maybe when later on
he does discuss the issues with his team members they might not be in the same
motivated state as they were before and this might not be good for the leader itself.
I also felt that it is not always necessary for person to talk in order to
share something, eyes or a touch can speak volumes of what a person wants to
say. There is an energy which is transmitted when a person looks into the eyes
of another person and unknowingly he can get an idea as to what the other
person wants to communicate to him.
Even in case of touch different touch actions can tell
different things about a person and what he wants to convey for example a slap
on the face can have a very negative impact on the person who was slapped and
it can also have high impact on his self esteem, whereas a small pat on the
back might be the right type of motivation needed for an employee of an
organisation to work hard to achieve his goal. There is a famous saying that
"Actions speak more than words". So we should always be careful of
the actions we do as can never know what kind of impact it can have on
different people.
On whole today I learnt some of the steps to be a good human
being who is loved and respected by all first. It is then only can I move
towards being an inspired self leader because until and unless I am not a good
human being I cannot think of myself as an inspired leader.
