The self leadership session started with differentiating between the soul and the body. The body is gross that occupies space and time. It keeps on changing, growing with age but wants to stay young all the time and same with the mind, with the different thoughts, different wants and the entire time craving for more. Everything is conditioned.
On the other hand the “soul” which has no boundaries, not defined by time or any space but covers everything in its own boundaries.
We also understood how spiritual gurus became better human beings only by going to the source. Source is all important as we become more aware, creative, qualitative, everything then comes from within and there is happiness and satisfaction. There is no competition with anyone then.
Religious gurus tell us, we are better, we are different but spiritual gurus do not do that. Once we surrender our ego and become one with the world, the best in us comes out from the source, which is ever pure. When we realize we are not the centre, just like others we are part of it, we get connected with everyone.
I also realized the power of non verbal communication through eyes, gestures and by just moving the lips and I was surprised how close we were to the actual impression as a team. I realized eyes can be so expressive. I also realized the importance of becoming being a good observer, one can build this ability over a period of time and without any communication understand what is going on in the mind of other person The positive energy activity first relaxed my whole body and I felt there was so much energy in my body. I was amazed by the result of that activity. I never thought that something like this also could happen.
The activity where the importance of listening was explained made me realize how important it is to listen. Sir mentioned that the best leaders are the best listeners as well as he mentioned how his senior during any interview would listen only for two minutes make the right decisions most of the time. It’s so important to become one with the listener and how we can get the best out of him. The activity we did also proved the same that all the powers are with listener, followers only choose to follow.
Lastly want to add that the energy created in the room, the aura could have only been felt and cannot be explained in words. The four letter word ‘love’ was felt. We will only be connected with everyone in the world if we have love, compassion for each other in our hearts.
