Today we had yet another brilliant session on Self
Leadership with Anil Sir.The day began on a very fruitful note when he
explained us that everything gets old with time except our soul and when we
have direct access to our soul we can transcend time and space. But, what
really limits us is the level of agitation that we continuously face in our
outer layers which prevents us from connecting to our supreme soul. It can only
be reduced when we sharpen our mind and intellect by displaying unconditional
love and surrendering our ego.
Then we did a series of exercise to understand the power of
our senses at a deeper level. Among all of them the power of observation left a
very profound impact upon me. I was amazed to see the reflection through our
eyes. Eyes are a direct reflection of our soul.We may use other mediums like
gestures and voice to communicate.But eyes reflect your true emotions and they never lie.
The power of listening is also very important for a leader.We
tend not to listen to a person, when we see a lack of alignment of the outer layers and we
start doubting his integrity.Listening is a powerful tool and the power always
lies in the hands of the listener or the follower and not with the speaker or
the leader.It is all about knowing the art of leading your senses to have a
profound impact as a leader.
